Lokal Homes LLC’s name comes from its focus on being a local, rather than national, homebuilder that knows what Colorado homebuyers want and provides it. That strategy also has helped the builder grow in recent years. “We wanted to provide a better homebuilding experience. … Denver is controlled by big-box builders, so we wanted to be the local choice,” said Lokal co-owner David Lemnah. “We know what makes communities in Colorado great, we know our trade partners and vendors. We’re able to do things that make sense … for here.” 

Lemnah and Lantz started putting Lokal Homes together in 2012, but the company didn’t begin operating in earnest until 2013. The partners met while they worked at Denver-based M.D.C. Holdings Inc. (NYSE: MDC) and its national Richmond American Homes homebuilding business.

“Our standard features set us apart,” Lemnah said. “We have a straightforward value proposition — a house you’d be proud to call home.” The builders’ growth comes down to giving the home-buying market “what it’s thirsty for, which is attainable housing,” said Lantz.

Marc earned an MBA from the Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and attended law school at the Concord School of Law at Purdue University. Marc is a fourth-generation Colorado Native with extensive experience in serving his community across various roles including the Colorado Springs Homebuilders' Association, Denver Homebuilders' Association, and President of the Colorado Association of Homebuilders. Marc's extensive experience in the homebuilding industry paired with his diligent work ethic make him a great addition to the Lokal team! 

With over 20 years of Human Resources experience across diverse industries, Marcus is dedicated to building a world-class culture for Lokal Homes. He has an uncanny ability to multi-task and support cross-functional departments while maintaining his focus on the employee experience.  His collaboration in the development of the company’s Core Values has allowed Lokal to be recognized as a "Best Place to Work" by multiple Colorado publications including the Denver Business Journal and Denver Post.

Tommy Pucciano was one of the first employees at Lokal Homes and has worked in a variety of roles for us. While working as a project director for Pucciano & English, Inc, his father's Architecture firm, Tommy would help Lokal Homes after hours. Tommy eventually made the leap to be with Lokal Homes and has since been a construction manager, Area Director, and Vice President of Forward Planning before transitioning into his current role.

A University of Denver graduate, Nate brings a diverse background to Lokal from his work in commercial real estate, land development, venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship. In a previous role, Nate worked closely with the team at Lokal on several projects starting in 2016 through 2022. He earned an MBA and an MS Information Systems from Boston University and likes using data-driven decision-making to guide the sales and marketing departments.

Hannah Buzzell joined Lokal Homes in 2021 and currently serves as the Vice President of Accounting. With extensive experience across the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics sectors, Hannah brings a strong background in financial strategy and operations to her role. At Lokal Homes, she oversees all accounting functions, driving financial integrity and supporting long-term growth through strategic planning and analysis. Her dedication to accuracy, efficiency, and transparency plays a vital role in the company’s continued success. When she’s not working, Hannah enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Cody Reinmiller brings over a decade of experience in new home sales, with a career that spans both onsite selling and sales leadership roles for national and regional homebuilders across Colorado. With five years spent selling directly to homebuyers, he offers a deep understanding of the customer journey and frontline sales operations. As a sales leader, Cody prioritizes both employee and customer experience, emphasizing hands-on support, ongoing training, and consistent time in the field with his team. His leadership style is rooted in building strong relationships and driving results through collaboration and continuous growth.

As Director of Purchasing at Lokal Homes, Sara Berry brings deep industry experience and a sharp attention to detail to every aspect of the procurement process. Her leadership helps shape the cohesive, high-quality design and construction standards Lokal is known for—ensuring every material and finish is thoughtfully selected for durability, function, and aesthetic consistency. With a collaborative mindset and a strong grasp of the Colorado market, Sara plays a vital role in delivering homes that meet both our brand promise and homeowner expectations.

As Director of Land Acquisition at Lokal Homes, Ryan Teater brings a results-driven approach to transforming raw land into vibrant residential communities. With years of experience in the Colorado market, he specializes in land acquisition strategy, financial modeling, and high-impact negotiations that align with Lokal’s growth goals. Ryan holds a BSBA in Real Estate and the Built Environment from the University of Denver, graduating cum laude, with a second major in Spanish, which he earned through study abroad in Buenos Aires. A committed industry leader, Ryan serves as secretary of the HBA’s Young Leaders Council and is a proud alum of the HBA’s Emerging Leaders Program.

Cory O’Blenness is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in homebuilding, specializing in new home warranty administration and operations management. As Director of Home Care at Lokal Homes, he leads with a focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team collaboration. Cory is skilled in developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance performance, support continuous improvement, and strengthen the homeowner experience throughout every stage of ownership.
